At Davis Monroe Financial, you get the independence to run your business and the backing to do it well. We’re a Mora-based mortgage broker serving East Central Minnesota, and we work with multiple wholesale lenders so you can fit the loan to the borrower, not the other way around.
You decide how you work
- Leads: Work company leads, bring your own business, or do both. Your pay reflects the path you choose, and self-generated loans earn more.
- Processing: Process your own files, or hand them to a third-party processor and DMF pays half the cost.
- Location: In-office, hybrid, and remote arrangements are available based on experience.

Who we’re looking for
You’re an experienced originator who doesn’t wait for someone else to fix a problem. You own your files from the first conversation to the closing table, you keep your borrowers and agents in the loop, and you’re never done getting better. You’ll originate conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA purchase and refinance loans, second mortgages, manufactured home loans, and permanent financing for new construction.
Requirements
- A proven track record originating residential mortgage loans.
- At least 2 years of recent residential mortgage origination experience.
- Experience originating purchase transactions and working with real estate agents.
- An active Minnesota MLO license, or a current NMLS registration as a bank or credit union loan originator and the ability to get your Minnesota license after hire.
- The ability to pass the NMLS background check and credit review.
- Must reside within 60 miles of Mora, Minnesota, and be able to travel to the office as needed.
Bonus points
- An established network of agents, builders, or past clients.
- FHA, VA, USDA, manufactured home, or new construction experience.
- Broker (wholesale) experience.
- Knowledge of the East Central Minnesota housing market.
