Kaitlin Sanftner has worked on nearly every side of the closing table. She began her career as a real estate paralegal, guiding buyers and sellers through closing day, then spent nearly ten years at a local community bank, where she grew from preparing loan documents and reviewing title work to leading loan operations and ultimately overseeing the bank’s compliance and BSA programs.
In 2026, she led the build-out of Davis Monroe Financial from the ground up, taking the company from licensing through launch. Today she leads Davis Monroe Financial’s lending operations and compliance and works directly with borrowers as a licensed loan originator.
Whether a client is buying, building, or refinancing, Kaitlin knows a mortgage is one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll make, and that every detail matters. She pairs deep knowledge of the rules with sound judgment and a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach, explaining things in plain language, keeping clients informed at every step, and making sure there are no surprises at closing. She also works closely with Davis Monroe Financial’s loan officers, supporting them on compliance and operational questions so every file moves smoothly. As a leader, she measures success not only by what the team accomplishes, but by the growth of the people behind it.
Outside of work, Kaitlin’s favorite role is being a wife and mom to her two boys. Much of her free time revolves around family life, keeping up with her boys’ activities, and enjoying time at home with her family and their pets. She loves learning new things, tackling challenges, and finding ways to make things work better, qualities that carry into both her professional and personal life.
